Agricultural Rates

last modified: February 13, 2014 at 2:29:48 PM

A variety of rates apply to farm operations. For the rates listed below, the amount of the facility charge depends on the capacity of the transformer(s) serving the site. You may also want to view a sample monthly bill or the more detailed rate chart.

  • Rate 3: Large Power Service applies if the billing demand is 75 kilowatts (kW) or greater.
  • Rate 16: Large Power Time-of-Day Service applies if the billing demand is 75 kW or greater.
  • Rate 20, A-D: Small General Service is applicable if a residential dwelling is not to be served, and the billing demand is less than 75 kW. See the explanation of demand charge.
  • Rate 31, A-D: Rural Farm and Residential Service applies when a residential dwelling is served in addition to agricultural facilities.

ECI REC's tariff document provides more valuable
information about how we determine your electric rate.
