ECI REC offers six payment options to our member-consumers. All are safe, reliable, and have no additional fees. If you wish to pay by card (credit or debit) payments will need to be made online or processed through our toll-free pay-by-phone system at 888-223-2048. No account number is needed—just tell the system the phone number tied to your account.
Online Payment (Bank Account or Credit Card) - SmartHub is the answer, it's fast, it's safe, and it's free! You will need your account number and corresponding meter number, which can be found on your electric bill.
Electronic Direct Payment (Bank Account or Credit Card) - You can make your payment automatically each month by electronic direct payment.
24-Hour Pay-By-Phone - Make a payment any time, any day of the week, by calling our automated pay-by-phone system's toll-free number, 888-223-2048.
24-Hour Drive-Up Depository Box - ECI REC has three 24-hour drive-up depositories.
Mail - Payment envelopes are included with your monthly billing statement.
Pay-In-Person - Payments may be made at the Urbana headquarters during regular business hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
